Warren D. Staples
1948 - 2016
PALERMO - Warren D. Staples 67, died peacefully at home with his wife and close friends by his side, following a courageous battle with cancer. Warren was born in Palermo on Oct. 13, 1948, the son of Warren and Thelma Staples. Warren attended Palermo schools and also attended Erskine Academy.
Warren had various jobs until he found a home with Peachey Builders where for over 40 years he worked as a carpenter. Warren enjoyed hunting and being up to camp in Jackman with his loving wife, Glenis, of 40 years. Warren also found himself plenty busy always helping friends and family with various construction projects.
Warren was predeceased by his parents; sisters Norma Staples and Louise Keene; brother Joseph Staples; and a very special nephew Chad French, and niece Lynette Pullen.
He is survived by his wife Glenis of Palermo; brothers Forrest, James, Ephram, Rahema, Larry, and Richard; sister Ann Barko of China; two special brothers-in-law, Gary Pullen of Chelsea and Steven Keene of Georgetown; and several nieces and nephews.
A very special thank you to longtime friends David and Joannie VanWickler for all their love and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
