The youngest of seven, she is survived by her older brother, Carol Wallace of Yarmouth. She graduated from Falmouth High School in 1944, and married Walter D. MacCormack in 1947, they had three daughters and a son. Rhody was active in Church, sang in the choir for many years, and directed the children's choir when her children were young. She was the fun aunt, to her nieces and nephews, and a good friend to many. As an avid gardener she had a love for nature and found joy in life. Rhody worked in several departments in LL Bean, ending with the phones, where customers would delight in hearing her Maine accent. Rosalie is survived by her youngest daughter, Janice Zarco of Freeport, son-in-law, Arthur Rushton, of Cumberland and a daughter-in-law, Stacey Goins, of Ohio; and seven grandchildren. A celebration of Rhody's life will be held at the North Yarmouth Congregational Church, 3 Gray Road, North Yarmouth, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 10.
