Robert E. Dumont
1956 - 2016
AUBURN - Robert E. "Bobby" Dumont, 59, of Stratton and Waterville, passed away peacefully on Jan. 25, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. His wife, Tammy, was by his side. Bobby was born on May 1, 1956, to Marie and Fredrick Dumont.
He attended Waterville schools and went on to work for Levine's clothing store for 24 years, and later for Ced's Market. Bobby enjoyed watching sports, especially the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. On the weekends, his family and friends could find him enjoying one of his favorite hobbies, singing karaoke at the Stratton Plaza. With his baseball hat on backwards, he would sing one of his favorite songs, "My Way," by Frank Sinatra, and many others. That song fit him perfectly as that was how he lived his life right until the end. Bobby was always telling jokes and impersonating famous people and characters. With his comedic style, he would remind people to enjoy life and have fun.
Bobby is survived by his wife and partner of 13 years, Tammy; three children, Jason Dumont and his girlfriend RaeLynn Orff, Kevin Dumont and his girlfriend Angel Daskoski, and Shawn Dumont; two stepchildren, Beth and John Beach; four siblings, Linda Morrissette, Fred Dumont and his wife Peggy, John Dumont (his twin), and Doreen Dumont and her fiancé Rob Ferguson; three grandchildren, Haily, Kayli, Eliana; many nieces and nephews; and some special friends including Jeff Radcliff and Gail Steward.
He was predeceased by his mother; father; two twin daughters, Autumn and Destiny; and a special friend, Bruce Corson.
The family wishes to thank the staff at The Hospice House in Auburn for their exceptional care; Bonnie Fitch, Susanne Schell, the oncology "angels" at Franklin Memorial Hospital; and Bobby's niece, Brandy Ryan, for all your love and care.

There will be no public service.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Bobby's memory to:
