In September 1970, Marilyn married Lloyd McKinnon. Marilyn and Lloyd were members of the Free Baptist Church in Bridgewater. After Lloyd retired, they resided in Inverness, Fla., near Lloyd's brother Ralph MacKinnon and his wife, Ines. Marilyn and Lloyd returned to Maine to live with Marilyn's daughter, Cheryle and her husband Roger, in Randolph.
