FAIRFIELD - On Nov. 2, 2018, heaven gained another angel. Marilyn (Shibles) Kitchin, 88, born July 8, 1930, to Burchard Shibles and Helen (Fuller) Shibles, passed away after a long battle with dementia.She enjoyed motorcycle rides and traveling with her husband, Harold, who she married in 1953. Harold and Marilyn had two daughters together, Terri (Kitchin) Breault and Sherry (Kitchin) Cloutier. Marilyn joins them in heaven along with her brother, Kenny Shibles and her granddaughter, Lisa Breault.Marilyn was kind and loving. She worked for the Maine Children's Home for Little Wanderers where she retired from and was a foster parent as well. She adored children and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.Marilyn will be missed dearly by her sister, Mura Knights; her brothers, Philip, Richard and Brian Shibles; her grandson, Aaron Knox; her great-granddaughters, Racheal and Brianna Soucy; her great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.There will be a gathering/Celebration of Life in her memory at her sister Mura's house at 3 Quaker Hill Road #2, Albion, Maine, on Sunday Nov. 11, 2018, starting at 11 a.m.An online guestbook may be signed, and memories shared at www.familyfirstfh.comArrangements are by Lawry Brothers Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 107 Main St., Fairfield.
