WATERVILLE - Daughter of the late Albertine and Arthur Dore, Lorraine R. Cyr, born on May 28, 1933 in Lewiston, passed away on Nov. 27, 2018. They moved to Waterville, where she graduated from Waterville High School in 1952.

Lorraine became an LPN nurse and worked at the Thayer Hospital and then moved to New Haven, Conn. and worked at Yale New Haven Hospital and Griffin Hospital in Derby, Conn. She married Raymond L. Survivors include her husband Raymond; brother, John Dore and his wife, Joan; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the nurses from Florida Hospital Hospice, Dr. Rebecca Peck and Dr. McNish and her wound staff at Halifax Hospital.

Memorial mass will held Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St Brendans Catholic Church, 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd., Ormond Beach, with Father Tom Barrett officiating and Deacon John Harvey giving the eulogy. Condolences to the family may be shared at www.dalewoodwardfuneralhomes.com
