1942 - 2017
OAKLAND - We lost our dear Aunt Judy on the 22 of December 2017, after a hard battle with leukemia.
Judy Wilde was born April 1, 1942, and lived in Oakland Maine. Judy attended the Taper School and completed three years at Williams High in Oakland. She later achieved her GED.
Judy's career included driving buses, and working with real estate. Judy also worked as an assistant dental hygienist.
Judy loved to draw, do puzzles and she was a wonderful cook. Judy loved gardening, especially her greenhouse in Mercer. She enjoyed visits and almost daily walks with several neighbours. She often attended the annual Maine Common Ground Fair. Judy also loved to travel and visit her grandchildren in Gorham. Maine and in Norway in Europe. She remembered fondly her travels to New Brunswick as a child. Judy enjoyed riding her scooter to the pond in Oakland and spending time with friends and family there.
All of you who were friends and family of Aunt Judy are invited to join in the celebration of her life on Sunday, Jan. 28, at the Oakland Legion from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Bring your best stories about Aunt Judy and a potluck meal to share.
