CLINTON - Joseph A. L. Hachey, 86, of Clinton, passed away at home on Friday, Feb. 1, 2019. He was born in Winslow on Jan. 10, 1933, the son of the late Leonel and Marqurite (Jacques) Hachey.He graduated from Winslow High School, class of 1951. Following his schooling, he served with the US Air Force from 1951 to 1972. He was a boom operator on the KC-97 and later the KC-135. He was active during both the Korean and Vietnam wars.Joseph was employed by Scott Paper Co. for 20 years. He was a 40-year member of the Clinton Lions Club and was an avid golfer and bowler. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.He was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Frank, Harvey, Ray, and Robert, and his sister, Yvette.Joseph will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 63 years, Blanche (Flenner) Hachey; his sons, Michael Hachey and his wife Mary, and Mark Hachey and his wife Jeanie; his brother, Paul Hachey; his grandson, Michael Hachey Jr. and his wife Rachel; and his great- grandsons, Hunter Hachey and Trevor Mitchell.Per his request there will be no services.
