1959 - 2018
MOUNT VERNON - Brad William Jackson, 58, of Mount Vernon, died suddenly on Saturday, May 5, 2018. Brad was an economic development professional, and retired Army lieutenant colonel who had served multiple overseas tours. He held degrees from Assumption College, Troy University, and the US Army War College, and was a student of military history and war gaming. Brad also served as treasurer of the Mount Vernon Community Partnership Corporation (CPC), and was a member of the town budget committee.
He is survived by his wife Patricia; and their children, Margaret of Hanover, N.H., and Gordon of New York City, N.Y.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Roberts Funeral Home, 62 Bowdoin St., Winthrop.
