WATERVILLE -- Brian L. Bonsall, 62, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at his home. He was born in Waterville on April 10, 1950, the son of Dorothy (Durrell) and Henry G. Bonsall.

Brian graduated from Waterville High School and remained a devoted resident of the city.

He was a passionate motorcyclist and guitar player and was known for his dry sense of humor. He will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.

Brian is survived by two sisters, Sandra Ford, of Albany, Ga., and Carole Dunton, of Greensboro, N.C.; and by one brother, John Bonsall, of Guilford, Conn.; as well as by three nieces, two nephews, one great-nephew, five great-nieces and several cousins.

Brian was a dedicated caretaker to his parents and to his uncle and aunt, Porter and Ethel Bonsall, who preceded him in death. He was also predeceased by a sister, Joyce Dotson; and a nephew, Stephen Dunton.

The family would like to thank those who were a part of Brian's life and treasured his friendship.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., in Waterville, with burial at Pine Grove Cemetery in Belgrade.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Brian's name to Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home, 7 Highwood St., Waterville, ME 04901.
