Robert Llewellen Ronco
1936 - 2017
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Robert Llewellen Ronco, 80, passed away in St. Petersburg, Fla. March 14, 2017, following a long period of illness.
Bob was born June 3, 1936, in Fairfield Center, the second son of Lorna Sarah Abbott Ronco and James Frederick Ronco, Sr.
His family moved to South Gardiner in 1945 where he resided until his marriage to Mary Celley on April 30, 2002. During his employment years he worked various positions including Etonic Shoe in Richmond.
They moved to the St. Petersburg area in 2004.
While in South Gardiner, he enjoyed deer hunting with his father and two brothers.
He attended the Baptist Church in South Gardiner and the Irving Park Baptist Church in St. Petersburg.
Bob was predeceased by his parents and a nephew, Mark Alan Ronco. He is survived by his wife Mary, his brother James F. Ronco, Jr. (Eileen), brother Gary W. Ronco (Judith); an aunt; a nephew, several nieces and cousins.
Following cremation, his ashes will be entombed in the Bay Pines Veterans Cemetery in St. Petersburg.
