Normand R. Dubreuil
1954 - 2017
WINTHROP - Normand R. Dubreuil, 63, a resident of Winthrop, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lewiston on Feb. 3, 1954, the son of Alfred R. Dubreuil and Yvette (Caron) Dubreuil.
Normand attended school in Lewiston and Auburn Maine School of Commerce. Normand enlisted and proudly served in the United States Army. On Feb. 15, 1975, he married Shirley Labonte in Auburn, celebrating 42 years together. He worked for over 41 years in the credit unions; Pioneer Plastic Credit Union, St Peter's Credit Union, St Joseph's Credit Union later to be named Rainbow Credit Union. He was the CEO of Maine State Credit Union for 31 years. He loved to play golf, go bowling and spending time with his family.
He is survived by wife Shirley Dubreuil of Winthrop; three sons: Joshua and his wife Jennifer of Idaho and their children, Colton, Wesley, Gavin, Jillian, Jacob and his wife Laura of Maine and their children Reece and Connor, Jared and his wife Sandra of Arizona and their children Jackson, Mikaela, Alexis and Camila; one daughter Melissa Shannon and her husband Joshua of New Hampshire and their children, Ariana and Cara; a brother, Maurice Dubreuil and his wife Bonnie of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and two sisters Irene Miquelon and Alice Langlois.
Visitation will be 3 - 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at BRAGDON-FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 707 Main St., Monmouth. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 14 Hasson St., Farmingdale. There will also be visitation from 10 - 11 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral service. Interment at Veterans Cemetery, 163 Mount Vernon Rd., Augusta.
