Douglas Charles Breingan
1958 - 2018
SKOWHEGAN - Douglas Charles Breingan passed away unexpectedly on May 3 2018, at the age of 59. Doug was born on June 11, 1958, in Skowhegan to Eileen Godin and Hugh Breingan.
Doug went to Skowhegan area schools, he played football in high school, and loved his favorite team, the Patriots. He loved hunting and fishing.
Doug worked as a maintenance person for Shaw's of Waterville; Thomas College; Northeast Lab in Winslow; and most recently, for the Town of Skowhegan. He always had a huge smile for everyone, and would do anything to help anyone.
Doug was predeceased by his mother, Eileen Godin Ronberg.
He is survived by his father, Hugh Thomas Breingan and his partner, Marylee Clukey; two sons, Matthew Woodard of Waterville, and Eric Brown of the Bangor area; two sisters, Sharon Godin and her partner, Roger Clement, of Oakland and Dawn Breingan Richardson of Poland; two brothers, David Breingan of Skowhegan, and Dan Breingan and his wife, Laura, of Fairfield; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; also, his ex-wife, Dayleen Landry, all of whom will dearly miss him.
There will be a celebration of life on May 12, 2018, at the Eagles Club in Skowhegan at 1:00 pm. A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
