He loved many outdoor activities such as camping and hiking. One of his favorite pastimes was boating with his wife, two stepchildren Casey and Bill, along with their beloved dog, Scully. They would explore different islands off the coast of Maine. He loved going on Corvette and motorcycle rides with his wife and dog. They would spend their time exploring all the covered bridges in Maine and New Hampshire. He also loved motorcycle rides with friends, especially his stepson, Bill, and stepson-in-law, Jonathan.
