Steven James Courtland Hartsgrove(1975-2014)

SKOWHEGAN - Steven J.C. Hartsgrove, 38, of Skowhegan, passed away unexpectedly on March 15, 2014, at his home in Skowhegan.
He was born on June 9, 1975, in Waterville, the son of Ralph R. Hartsgrove and Cyndi A. Richardson.
He was educated in Skowhegan schools. He attended KVCC in Fairfield, his studies were in the electrical technology program.
Steven worked as a baker in a bakery in South Portland for 10 years; he also worked construction while living in the Portland area. After moving back to Skowhegan, he worked for Walmart in Waterville for two years. Then he worked at Bloomfield's in Skowhegan as a bartender, and he worked for Paint it Right in Skowhegan. He was currently working as a bartender at the Eagles Club in Skowhegan, and he was working for Greg Salisbury at Hill Top Antiques in Skowhegan in Internet shipping.
He is a member to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Club in Skowhegan. He was the vice president of the Eagles Club, and he helped out putting on the dinners at the club. He was also a member of the Skowhegan-Madison Elks Lodge in Skowhegan.
He really enjoyed cooking, playing cribbage, 31, going camping and reading. He could fix anything that needed fixing, he was a fan of football and enjoyed Formula One racing.
He is survived by his mother, Cyndi Richardson, and his stepdad, Fred Currier, of Skowhegan; his father, Ralph Hartsgrove, of Skowhegan; two sisters, Ellen Gonzalez and her husband, Edwin, of New Haven, Conn.,and Amanda Hartsgrove, of Skowhegan; three nieces, Hailey, Adrianna and Savannah; two nephews; Anthony and Shawn; and several aunts, uncles and cousins, including two special cousins, Dottie and Heather.
A graveside service will be held later in the spring at the Fairview Cemetery in Canaan.
