WATERVILLE -- Grace I. Huard, 95, died on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Mount St. Joseph nursing home. She was the daughter of the late Joseph I. and Lucie Dora Theriault.

She resided and worked for many years in New Jersey and returned to Maine when she retired.

Grace was a very prayerful person and also belonged to and was involved with the Carmelite sisters in New Jersey for many years.

She was predeceased by four brothers, Renee and Raymond Theriault, formerly of California, Wilfred Theriault, formerly of Augusta, and Leonard, of Waterville; three sisters, Madeline Byrd, formerly of Florida, Marie Cash, formerly of New Vineyard, and Theresa A. White, of Winslow.

Grace is survived by her son, Joseph Huard Jr.; grandsons, Scott and Kenneth Huard; great-grandchildren, Justin and Brittney; her sisters, Rita C. and husband, Adam Hikel, of Vassalboro, Jeffrine M. Quirion, of Winslow; a brother, John P. Theriault and wife, Celeste, of New Jersey and Winslow; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Notre Dame Catholic Church. Committal to follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Servants of the Blessed Sacrament, 101 Silver St., Waterville 04901, or to Mount St. Joseph nursing home, 7 Highwood St., Waterville 04901.
