HUDSON -- Alton J. Bouchard, 59, died unexpectedly Feb. 17, 2013, at Eastern MaineMedical Center. He was born Aug. 7, 1953, in Waterville, the son of William J. and Alma Bouchard.

Alton served in the Army in Vietnam from 1972 to 1974 and was honorably discharged. He enjoyed the outdoors and was able to hunt and fish in places many people dream of. Alton was a pilot and based his career in that field. He started in his garage rebuilding wrecked planes, then he owned Central Maine Flying Service and since 2000, he was owner of PK Floats in Lincoln.

Alton will be greatly missed by a special extended family, a stepdaughter, Kelly, and her husband, Bradley Dangler. Alton "Pappy" will be missed by Dustin Dangler, his companion, Chelsey, and children Alexys, Emma and Dylan Dangler, Jake Dangler and his companion, Amber, Scott and his daughter, Ciarra Miller, and Kevin and his son, Kevin Miller.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call 10 a.m. until noon Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a funeral service will be at noon. A reception will follow.
