MADISON - William L. "Bill" Perry, 65, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at his home in Madison. He was born July 19, 1948, in Skowhegan to Vernon "Bosco" and Lorraine (Landry) Perry. Bill was educated in Madison schools. He was employed at the Madison Paper Mill for 41 years.
Bill was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and the Skowhegan/Madison Elks Lodge No. 2531. Bill enjoyed helping others and loved the outdoors, especially camping, fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Elizabeth "Betty" (Sargent) Perry, his stepchildren, Becky and Michael Williams, his grandson and best friend, Cole Williams, all of Madison, his sister Rhonda Dow and her husband, Glenie, of Canada, children he helped raise, Mallory and Erin Boulette, a niece, Jessica Muse and husband Marcel, of Blue Hill, and many cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held later in the spring at Bill's home and the time and date will be announced. Cremation arrangements are by Giberson Funeral Home, 40 Maple St., Madison.
