NORRIDGEWOCK - Mona A. Giles died unexpectedly Nov. 27, 2013, at the age of 50. She was born March 28, 1963, in Norridgewock to Jeanne and Philip DeRosby.

She is survived by her mother, Jeanne Moore, of Sanford, N.C.; her husband, Larry Giles and son Bryon Giles, of Norridgewock; a stepdaughter, Misty Lacroix, and husband Rodney, of Waterville; two grandchildren, Brandon Giles, of Skowhegan, and Brittney Guimond, of Rockland; two sisters-in-law, Mary D'Auteuil and her husband, Albert, of Sidney, and Nancy LeBrecque, of Waterville; one brother-in-law, Gary Giles; and a good friend, Lottie Dodge, of Vassalboro; four brothers, Larry Poulin and wife Katie, of Norridgewock, Douglas DeRosby, of Sanford, N.C., Bradley DeRosby, of Sanford, N.C., and Craig DeRosby and wife Tamora, of Readfield; sister Lisa Ames and husband John, of Norridgewock; half sister Sandra Young, of Albion; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars for many years. She liked playing bingo at the American Legion in Waterville. She had many friends.

We will all miss Mona and love her forever. We will have a spring service for Mona.
