WATERVILLE - Albert Belanger Jr., 42, died unexpectedly Thursday morning, July 10, 2014, at his residence with his loved ones by his side.
He was born in Lawrence, Mass., on April 30, 1972, the son of Albert and Mildred (Taylor) Belanger Sr.
Albert was a 1991 graduate of Cony High School. He was currently a student at the University of Maine at Augusta, studying accounting. He proudly served in the Army Reserve from 1993 until 1999.
He was currently employed by the state of Maine as a revenue agent. He also enjoyed hobbies such as Aikido, and spending time online, watching movies and gaming.
He will be greatly missed by family and his friends and also his co-workers at the state of Maine Revenue Services.
He is survived by his wife, Margo (Bourque) Belanger; his children, Taylor and Sydney Picard, Chelsea Glenn, and Samantha and Mercedes Belanger; two grandchildren; his mother, Mildred Sukeforth, and stepfather Robert Sukeforth; and sister Linda Demars.
He was predeceased by his father, Albert Belanger Sr.
The family wishes to express a "thank-you" to the Waterville Police Department and especially Detective Joshua Woods for their assistance.
At the family's request, there will be no public visitation. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 17, at First Baptist Church, 12 Newhall St., Fairfield.
